Governance Council

The Governance Council is a group of individuals who have the authority to make policy decisions for the community of care.  This council is responsible for developing and upholding the formal agreements and memoranda of understanding between the collaborating child-serving agencies.  They also hold the community of care accountable for meeting higher standards of care in areas such as cultural competence, family involvement and standards of practice proven effective through research and evaluation.  The governing body assures that cooperative agreement funds are spent appropriately within the community.  They also monitor the clinical and functional outcomes of children to ensure that services are making a positive contribution to the wellbeing of the children and their families.
